“No Pulgi” means "no home" in Ngarrindjeri language.

The Partnership

The team is administratively based at Nunkuwarrin Yunti, but is the result of a partnership between Nunkuwarrin Yunti, Royal District Nursing Service, Aboriginal Sobriety Group, The Central Western Adelaide Aboriginal Primary Health Care Access Program (APHCAP), Central Northern Adelaide Health Services (Department of Health) and Drug and Alcohol Services of South Australia.

The No Pulgi service views health in a holistic way that encompasses the social determinates of health such as adequate housing, adequate nutrition and social inclusion.

We believe health is:

“...a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, is a fundamental human right...”
