NUHIT (Clean Needle Program)

Aims of the Program

  • To reduce the transmission of Blood Borne Viruses such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C
    To link people into treatment and support
    To promote safe disposal of used equipment

Services Provided

  • Clean sterile equipment
    Sharps containers for disposal
    Health Education & Information
    Referral, Advocacy & Support
    Collection point for disposal of used equipment
